Following on last year’s inaugural event, the 2nd Annual Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance once again sets the bar for a concours in a setting as refined as the automobiles on show.
More than 100 vintage, rare, and often unique cars, mostly from Southern California collections and many from Beverly Hills, are expected to be on display. In addition, motorcycles will be among the items of vehicular art.
In the tradition of the finest Continental concours exhibitions such as the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on Lake Como, the event will take place at the historic Greystone Estate in Beverly Hills, a property which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Luxury is the theme, and connoisseurs of exceptional automobiles will be treated not only to vehicular marvels, but to an array of luxury items. A high-end marketplace inside the mansion will feature fine art, jewelry, automobilia, and accessories. Tours of the estate will take place throughout the day.
Also highlighting the festivities are the food and beverage offerings, including margarita and espresso bars, and wine and beer gardens, situated throughout the estate grounds. The event begins at 10:00 a.m., awards are presented at 3:00 p.m., and the concours concludes at 4:00 p.m.
A portion of the $100-per-person ticket price ($125 at the gate) will benefit the nonprofit Friends of Greystone. Like the Quail event in Monterey, ticket sales are limited to 3,000 and ticket purchase includes food and drink, a program, a poster, and more.
