esigner tomas maier incorporates Bottega Veneta’s (212.371.5511, www.bottegaveneta.com) trademark intrecciato weaving as accents on the brand’s latest collection of leather goods. But the look and feel of the briefcases, satchels, wallets, and other accessories owe as much to Maier’s own collection of washed and weathered cardigans as they do to any other items in the Bottega Veneta lineup. Each soft-sided design is made from tumbled calfskin or equally supple exotic skins.
