Isaia

The cut of a typical Isaia (888. 996.7555, www.isaia.it) suit includes a natural-fitting shoulder with a slight forward pitch, a high armhole, and a canoe-shaped breast pocket. These traits are common among suits made by Neapolitan tailors. But the silhouettes of Isaia’s suits vary greatly, ranging from the short, slim-cut Gregory to the newly introduced Musa, which has large lapels and extremely high armholes. All Isaia suits are cut fuller than most Italian-made garments, to accommodate American body types. This fall the brand will introduce suits made from undyed black wool, vintage cashmere, and proprietary cloth innovations.
