The first American store from
Henri J. Sillam (
www.sillam.com) is small in size, but the jewels inside are big and bold. Opened last year in the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel, the boutique displays the sixth-generation Austrian-French jeweler’s chunky necklaces, large drop earrings, and other daring diamond and gemstone pieces. Sillam selects stones for their unique colors and large sizes, using such specimens as bright-green Persian turquoise, soft lavender Jade, and pink Chilean phosphosiderite. Through his boutique, Sillam offers a bespoke service that includes his personal design guidance.
