The Continental Supersports is the fastest, most powerful Bentley ever. Better yet, it’s the first Bentley built to incorporate an alternative fuel. The two-seat super coupe uses FlexFuel technology to run on E85 (a blend of ethanol and petroleum) or premium gasoline, and its W-12 engine produces 621 hp and 590 ft-lbs of torque—that’s good enough to reach 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last March, the Supersports is paving the way for the British brand’s future, as all production models will be available with a FlexFuel option by 2012. Regardless of Bentley’s recent push to go green, the Supersports’ performance figures justify those who have an affinity for red paint and a distaste for red lights.
