Hokulani

Palmer Johnson's Hokulani is the second build in Palmer Johnson’s 150 series, but the first to go into charter. The craft, replete with gold hull and black trim, turned heads when it sashayed onto the charter market in 2008, and it has been in demand ever since. Passengers will not find old-world accoutrements, or deckhands standing at attention in white slacks. Rather, they will enjoy a more contemporary experience: Think surround-sound cinema that rattles even the silken fabrics of the Nuvolari-Lenard decor as a stewardess clad in black serves mojitos. Hokulani, offered at a weekly base rate of roughly $188,000, features five cabins, each with either one king-size or queen-size bed or two twin beds that convert to a double—making the boat ideal for couples seeking an adults-only vacation.
