The 8000 Series 3-D-capable TVs from electronics supergiant Samsung are the Korean brand’s technology statements. They use a full array of LED as the lighting engine for the LCD glass, which boasts industry-leading picture for both 2- and 3-D with a 240 Hz refresh rate for reduced motion blur. These models have a depth of just under one inch for ideal on-wall mounting, as well as power requirements that exceed Energy Star standards. The 8000 Series offers 46-, 55-, and 65-inch models.
