Sneak Peek: Park Hyatt Sydney

Located in the Rocks district of Sydney’s city center, the Park Hyatt Sydney reopened February 13 after a seven-month renovation. The hotel takes advantage of its sweeping views of the majestic Sydney Harbor and the landmark opera house, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows in nearly every space, including the 155 guest rooms and suites (starting at $895). Celebrating its local origins, Park Hyatt Sydney commissioned local artists for its artwork; refurbished its boardwalk, which was crafted from indigenous spotted gum timber; and serves locally sourced, holistic, and Australian-inspired cuisine in its restaurant. A new top-floor addition showcases three suites that range from $4,545 to $16,000 for the Sydney Suite, the city’s largest. (+61.2.9256.1234, www.sydney.park.hyatt.com)
