The InterContinental London Park Lane hotel has partnered with the historic London Luxury Quarter for Made in Mayfair, an all-new package that pairs a stay in the hotel’s Luxury Suite with a special look into the retailers of central London’s iconic Mayfair district.
The experience provides guests a two-night stay with 24-hour butler service and access to the Club InterContinental, an exclusive area on the hotel’s seventh level where guests can enjoy sweeping city views through floor-to-ceiling windows. The stay also includes complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening Champagne with canapés. The Made in Mayfair program is customized to accommodate the interests of the guests. Among the options is a trip to London’s oldest bespoke shoemaker, Foster and Son, where, for an additional fee, guests can be fitted for a new pair of shoes. They can also visit the world-renowned perfumery Floris, where centuries-old hand-blending techniques have been used to create perfumes for British monarchs—guests will even be able to craft their own unique scent. An exclusive guided tour of historic apparel and military uniforms at the Gieves and Hawkes shop on Savile Row is also available; the garment brand has been making suits and uniforms in the United Kingdom for more than 200 years, and holds a Royal Warrant (as do Foster and Son and Floris).
The Made in Mayfair program began May 1 and will run through February. It is priced from around $6,000 per couple. (+44.20.7409.3131, parklane.intercontinental.com)
