Johns Hopkins Medicine
What:  For the first time, Johns Hopkins will hold its popular Dean's Symposium both in Palm Beach and on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Money raised during the events will benefit medical education scholarships, scientific research, and patient care.

Breast Cancer Research Foundation
What: The Hot Pink Luncheon and Symposium in Palm Beach  gathers internationally renowned Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) researchers to present on their most recent discoveries in the fight against breast cancer. The proceeds benefit BCRF’s ongoing research to find a cure for breast cancer. Individual tickets start at $550.

Massachusetts General Hospital
What: “From Science to Medicine to You” is presented by Peter L. Slavin, MD, President of Mass General Hospital (MGH), and the MGH Development Office. Attendees will enjoy a reception and luncheon with remarks by top MGH physicians. This program is free.

Cleveland Clinic
What: The "Somewhere Over the Rainbow” black-tie Florida Ball regularly raises in excess of $1 million to support Cleveland Clinic Florida (Weston and West Palm Beach locations). The funds are used to support the expansion of facilities and services. Special honoree is Kathryn Veceillio. Individual tickets start at $1,250; tables start at $15,000.

Dana-Farber Cancer Center
What: The Discovery Ball benefits the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. The black-tie celebration raises funds for pediatric and adult cancer care and research. Guests will enjoy dinner and music by the Sultans of Swing. The 2013 event raised $1.7 million. For tickets please call 561.833.2080. Individual tickets start at $1,000.

Children’s Burn Foundation 
What: The Giving New Hope Benefit raises money to provide burn patients under age 18 with reconstructive treatment and support services, camps for child burn survivors and their families, and educational programs in the Los Angeles area on preventing burns. This year’s honoree is actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise. Tickets start at $275.

The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
What: This year’s Bunny Hop brings families together to raise money to launch the first clinical trial of a treatment for pediatric sarcoma. Guests can participate in face painting, photo booths, and live animal presentations, and enjoy entertainment from The Big Apple Circus. Tickets are $200 for adults, and $80 for children.
